The Rotary Club of Tomah and the Tomah Parks & Recreation Department are very excited to offer the 13th Annual Freeze Fest event in Tomah, Wisconsin and invite you to join us for a great way to celebrate all the fun that a Wisconsin Winter can offer--both indoors and outdoors and remote as well as in-person opportunities!
The goal of this event is provide a winter weekend for the Tomah Area Community to come out, enjoy different activities, get rid of the winter blues and to raise funds for Tomah Rotary Programs.
The cost for many events is only the cost of a $1.00 Freeze Fest Button (shown above) a $1.00 Freeze Fest Button which will be available at City Hall and the Chamber office. So get out of the house and come enjoy Freeze Fest. Freeze Fest buttons will be sold prior to the events at City Hall Main Office and the Tomah Chamber of Commerce Office.
There will be games for all ages. We know this will become a tradition in which the whole family will want to participate, so come out and support the community and enjoy all the exciting activities the Winter season AND The Tomah Rotary Club have to offer.

MEDALLION HUNT
This event will kick off Freeze Fest! Starting on Monday, January 30th, Clues will be released on the daily at 5pm on our
Facebook Page The individual who finds the medallion will win $300.00 in Tomah Bucks.
The winner must be wearing a Freeze Fest Button. (Rules can be found in the files section on this page and homepage)
FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT @ THE TOMAH LIBRARY
Family Movie Night at the Tomah Library on February 2nd
Join us in watching Frozen
The movie will start at 6pm, library doors will open at 5:50. Free Hot Cocoa
Must have Freeze Fest Button and be accompanied by an adult.
BINGO & EUCHRE
Friday, February 3rd, 1:00pm at The Senior Center
Open to the Public of all ages.
All participants will need to purchase a Freeze Fest button for $1.00.
In addition, euchre players will pay $2.00 (10 cents a bump) and bingo players will purchase the desired number of bingo cards for $.50 per card.
$50 awarded to the winners.

SNOWSHOE AND CROSS COUNTRY SKI
“Swish Across the Lake” Freeze Fest Snowshoe & Ski event. This will be a Round Trip Park to Park route marked with torches, and there will be Hot Cocoa and S'mores back at Winnebago Park. Beginners are encouraged to attend. Tomah Health volunteers will be available to assist, and we will have snow shoes and skis to check out.

SKY LANTERN RELEASE
As part of the “Swish Across the Lake” Snowshoe/XC Ski event on Friday night (weater permitting), we will also be doing a Sky Lantern Release over Lake Tomah. Sky Lanterns date back hundreds of years and are used to release your troubles and bring you good luck, wisdom and guidance.
$5.00 cost per lantern. They will be released @ 5:30pm and 6:30pm
OPEN SKATE
Tomah Youth Hockey, invites you to bring the entire family to the Tomah Ice Center for a special Freeze Fest Open skate. Saturday, February 4th, Tomah Ice Center 6:00pm-0:00pm
Fee: Free with Freeze Fest Button or $4.00 adults $3.00 youth/seniors at the door.
REMOTE CONTROL CAR RACES
Saturday, February 4th Recreation Park Recreation Building 10:00am-12:00pm
Fee: Freeze Fest Button
Age Categories– 10 & under, 11-17, 18 & up
Bring your remote control cars and compete in races. (must have own car)
CHILI COOKOFF & SILENT AUCTION
The Tomah Rotary Club invites you to enter your favorite chili recipe (no cost to enter) Contact Deb Reid @ 608-344-0947 Voting for Chili will be done with $ dropped in their bucket.
Chili with most $ in bucket wins trophy and $100 Chamber bucks. There will be a People’s Choice
award and a Judge’s award.

Virtual Fishing Derby - Post a Picture on the
Tomah Rotary Club Facebook page of your fish caught during this time. You will need to show the measuring device, date of catch and a 2023 Freeze Fest button in the picture as well. Prizes would be given for largest and smallest catch.
SNOW SCULPTURE CONTEST
Monday, January 30th - Friday, February 3rd
Virtual Snowman contest - Post a Picture on the Tomah Rotary Club Facebook page including a 2023 Freeze Fest button. During the week the public will get a chance to vote on their favorite. Voting will
end Sun, Feb. 5th. Entries with the most votes wins the prize.
